First trip to the Casino

Jason called me last week to ask if it was alright if he came up to visit me in Midland for a few days. So, after I went to Trick'or'Treat with my cousins in Barrie, I went and picked up Jason at the Bus Station. From there we journeyed North on Highway 400 and 11 then cut through Orillia to CasinoRama.
Now, I was there very briefly in the past. Once on the way from Home to Midland I went over to get a look at it. It's big and inside it's really nice. They don't allow smoking so it's really clean and classy.
Now, when Jason and I went, I had the idea that I'd play poker. But, I had to sign up to the waiting list to play in the $1-$2 no limit table. While waiting, Jason and I went and played Roulette. Now, we didn't' have any system, but we did make fairly conservative bets. We usually only threw money on black/red or odd/even. Fairly quickly we were up about $80 each. Then my luck started to change and I busted back down to being up only $10. But, then my luck swung back around again and I was up around $100. Jason was up around $250, and we were the only people at the table. Then they closed the table on us!! They said we weren't making enough bets to justify keeping it open. Bastards.
So, we went over to another table, but then they called me over to play poker. I played two hands of poker. The first two I was dealt. right away I got A-J Diamonds and caught both and Ace and a Jack on the flop. That netted me about $60. The next hand I caught pocket rockets (A-A) and an Ace landed on the board with a 3 and a 9 as the other cards, nothing suited. Some guy pushed me all in and I threw down my Aces. I thought he was going to have a seizure. He had A-K, so he had good reason to be confident, but it didn't stand up against my 3 of a kind.
I wound up walking away from the Poker tables with 317 in chips (up $297 ). I met Jason back at the Roulette tables. He had gone down a bit but was still up over a hundred. I made one $10 bet on roulette and lost and then headed over and cashed out. It was really nice being asked "Would you like that in large bills sir?".
Jason cashed out a few minutes later, he was up $150. So, between the two of us we took $437 out of the Casino, plus 4 cups of coffee and a bottle of water. Needless to say, we had an excellent time. Which is exactly what the Casino wants to happen to you. Now we'll be tempted to go back and bet bigger, then we'll lose it all.
