Mustang 5.0

Well, it wasn't a Mustang 5.0 V8 it was a version 5.0. It was a 4.0 that my friend Kelly and I test drove on monday. 4.0 V6 with a 5 speed manual to be precise. But, it was still a really, really fun car to drive. The V6 was peppy and made a pretty convincing noise. My only regret is that we didn't keep the car out longer. :-(
I also test drove an F150, although Kelly wasn't very interested in that. Then, after the test drive we went for dinner at a Greek restaurant. Funny, we went to a Greek restaurant the last time too. After dinner she went home and I drove the long trip from Arnprior. See when I was at my cousin Lisa's birthday party on Saturday I discovered one of my Dad's friends worked at a Ford dealership in Arnprior and he invited me down to test drive the mustang.
It was one of the highlights of the weekend. But, I also had fun going for hikes, boiling maple syrup and playing with the kids. All in all, it was a good trip home.

The End of Suburbia: The Musical!

So, in relation to one of my older blogs, I found a documentary entitled 'The End of Suburbia'. It is coming to the Princess on the 22nd, or you can rent it from Gen X in Waterloo (Corner of Dupont and Regina). It documents many of the problems with Suburbia. Although, it really doesn't put much faith in new energy methods, it does ask what people will do when gas is $2.50/litre or even $5/litre. This comes to one of my sneaking suspicions. That traditional suburban real estate may not be a particularly good investment.
