Update

Ok, first of all. I just gotta say that I love the redesign of the Dr. Pepper cans. Especially the Diet can. It looks awesome. Very minimalistic.
what else has been going on...
Ok, so I've started going to Gymnastics at Huronia on tuesdays. That's a ton of fun. I've got my roundoff-handspring down and I can do my standing back tuck. So, the next in line is roundoff-tuck, then roundoff-handspring-tuck. Eventually I'd like to be able to do lines of handsprings ending in a tuck. Also, there are some pretty cute girls that hang around at Gymnastics clubs. Who knew?
Lets see. I've been playing poker at Bleachers here in Midland on Wednesdays. Also fun stuff. I finished in the points for the first time 2 weeks ago.
Thursdays have been reserved for chilling and relaxing. I've played some video games and downloaded and watched the first season of "How I met your Mother". Absolutley hilarious show. Go NPH!!

Oh yeah, I've got the final class of my bartending course tonight at 6. So, I've kind of got to hurry to get to that after work. It's the flair section. So, I had to learn how to toss bottles a la "Cocktail". It's been pretty fun. I'm glad they gave me a plastic bottle to practice with. Because glass would be very broken by now.
I read this book on the history of Cities. It was really good and talked about how cities have grown over the centuries as well as the way that cities interact with their citizens and their environments. The author shows how cities have grown and how the things that are required for them to be successful.

Now I'm re-reading Peter Lynch's "One up on Wall Street". Fun book on investing, but potentially dangerous in the wrong hands. He kind of makes investing in Stocks sound easy and fun. And it can be, but I don't know how many people would have the discipline to stick with the tips he outlines.

And, I'm just coming off a month with no booze. It was great, I got my Bench press back up into the 225lb x 5 reps range. Which is nice. Plus, I just feel good. Now, I had a few drinks on Saturday at Raylenes Farewell Party, but I didn't go overboard. Still, I don't think I'll drink this weekend. I just find that I was doing it too much. I'd rather do like I have been and have one really good night where I drink every once in a while instead of a whole lot of so-so nights. I have also saved tons of money. Oh, I also gave up sugary snacks for the month. Yay for me!
